The CDE-170 offers Android AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0 when used with a compatible Android™ smartphone through the USB connection. The AOA connection provides better music and sound control compared to basic Bluetooth® audio streaming.

Bass Engine SQ tuning changes bass sound characteristics by automatically adjusting different combinations of EQ, Sub Level and Crossover settings through the choice of five bass profiles (Standard, Punch, Rich, Mid Bass, Low Bass). Use the convenient Bass button on the front panel to choose the setting you prefer.

With a dedicated USB input and USB cable, you can connect USB memory devices like thumb drives. Song lists on USB devices are displayed in alphabetical order and allow eight levels of file / folder search capabilities.
